Why Do We Give?

Dear PPC Community,

We are singing a new song at Potomac Presbyterian Church. This means we are focusing our mission and ministry on worship and music as we reach out into the community and as we enhance our life together. Those outside PPC are invited to our new weekend concert series. Those inside PPC will benefit during Sunday morning hymn singing from hearing a state-of-the-art Viscount Digital Organ and a brand new (to us) Kawai piano.

We have an incredibly hard-working staff leading the effort to help us sing a new song. Director of Music and Organist Sam Gray has come on board seamlessly and raised the level of our music instantly. Choral Accompanist Sean Cavanaugh lends his concert style piano playing to enhance the worship experience every Sunday. Technology Specialist James Chhetree helps to balance streaming with superb sound so that our online community feels right at home in worship.

We are only able to sing a new song because of the generous financial donations to what God is doing in and through Potomac Presbyterian Church that come from you and me. We are asking for an increase in financial giving in 2025 so that we can achieve our goals in the areas of worship, education, mission, and property. You and I are the financial backbone and resources that the church relies on to carry out the mission and ministry, to maintain building and grounds, to pay staff salaries, and to sing a new song.

Please speak with me if you have any questions about how our dollars are at work at PPC and about our 2025 goals. Your pledge matters greatly so that we may continue to sing a new song in 2025.

In Christ,

Pastor Emily
