Greg Robertson
Greg Robertson has served as a soloist and section leader in Washington area churches since well into the last millennium, starting at Western Presbyterian and Chevy Chase Presbyterian. Additionally, he has performed in numerous operas and oratorios. Prior to (and after) discovering his voice, he played the trumpet for a variety of events both sacred and secular. Greg studied trumpet and/or voice at Indiana University Bloomington, the University of Maryland College Park, and the University of Michigan summer opera program at Interlochen. Greg’s Presbyterian ancestry dates back at least to 18th century Fort Defiance, Virginia, where his great great great great great grandfather Captain William Robertson is rumored to have sung “To Anacreon in Heaven” with George Washington during the Revolutionary War. Greg resides with soprano Jennifer Robertson and their Brittanys Opie and Willie.
