Providing Hygiene Kits for Families in Montgomery County affected by COVID-19 – DUE JUNE 30, 2020

Through PPC’s connection with KindWorks, we have the opportunity to support HealthCare Initiative Foundation’s (HCIF) efforts to provide kits for Montgomery County families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  These families could be recovering from COVID-19 or have been affected by the pandemic such that they cannot access these items for themselves. The Mission Committee chose to support HCIF’s program by asking the congregation to create Hygiene Kits with the goal of 50 kits.  The kits contain 11 different items for hygiene care:

Shampoo, Kid’s body wash, Soap, Dental Floss, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Kleenex, Hand Sanitizer, Feminine products, Masks and Laundry Detergent

We have created a Sign-Up Genius for donation of these items.  Items can be dropped off at church or ordered online and sent directly to church 10301 River Road, Potomac 20854. Financial donations also acceped (click the drop down and select “Hygiene Kit”, you do not need to log onto your account to make a donation)

Feel free to sign up for multiple categories!  There is the option to provide items in specific categories or create individual complete kits on your own and bring to PPC.  Kits will be filled at PPC and taken to HCIF for distribution.  If you have any questions about this project please call the church office, or contact Chris McAuliffe at  or Denise Pierson at Let us join together in Faith, Hope and Love to support county families affected by the pandemic.

We would like to have all donated items at church by June 30.
Thank you for your support of this program.
