New Stephen Ministry Class to begin Fall of 2021
Is God calling you to this new opportunity?
Have you struggled to find the words to help a friend or family member in the midst of a death, job loss, divorce or health crisis? Stephen Ministry training will not only help you care with compassion for those in our congregation, but will enrich your listening and communication skills.
The Stephen Ministry Class of 2018 has continued to provide care through the pandemic. We plan to train a new class of 6 to 8 people starting in October or November this fall. We will meet on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 with commissioning in the spring of 2022. We will then meet twice a month.
For helpful information to see how the training has impacted the lives of Stephen Ministers, you can view our video from PPC’s May 16th service at https://youtu.be/sOMu1B-_Mq0 and also check out www.stephenministries.org/serve .
We encourage you to talk with a Stephen Leader, Karen Karch, Bob Stow, Sherry Johnson or Pastor Emily to find out more about this exciting ministry.
