Each year, our church has participated in the nationwide Souper Bowl of Caring movement. When Superbowl Sunday comes around and we all prepare a great feast for the game, it is important to remember those who are worried about their next meal. The Souperbowl of Caring is a youth-inspired movement that calls us to support local organizations that fight against hunger. This year, the youth have decided to aid Feeding America, which is a wonderful organization that seeks to end hunger in our country. They have a food hub in D.C. that continues to give out more than 45 million meals a year to families in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Next Sunday, February 7th, there will be a special collection through Realm for the Souper Bowl of caring. There will be a link in the description of the video and email that goes out in the morning to give towards this cause. We hope you will consider this special offering as we seek to live into our motto of Caring for ALL with Faith, Hope, and Love.
