Interfaith Worship and Service Project, November 20, 2018, 7:30pm

On Tuesday, November 20 at 7:30 pm we will worship with the faith communities affiliated with the Potomac Area Interfaith Group at St. Francis Episcopal Church in order to share our gratitude for our neighbors.  After the worship service all who are in attendance will be invited to assemble care kits for the women at the Interfaith Works emergency shelter and for the women and men at the Dorothy Day Transitional Housing Program.  Each faith community will bring a portion of the supplies needed for the care kits.  Potomac Presbyterian Church is assigned to bring 70 deodorants and 108 travel size tissues. We have enough deodorant – just need tissues at this time.   Please help us collect these items by dropping off the deodorants and travel size tissues in the bin in Fellowship Hall marked “Interfaith Thanksgiving.”  There will be a youth and children’s choir in which all youth and children are invited to join.  The choir will rehearse “All Things Bright and Beautiful” at St. Francis at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, 11/20/18.  Mark your calendar and plan to worship and serve with our interfaith neighbors.
