Christian Living - Second Tuesday at 9:30 AM
This year we will be combining study with action as we look at Jubilee! Luke's Gospel for the Poor, by Dale Lindsay Morgan. Each month we will serve at a mission site, have lunch, and discuss the experience in light of Jesus' message of jubilee ". . . he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. . . . to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free . . . " (Luke 4:18). Learn about and help be a part of the many ways that Christ's jubilee message turned the world upside down, exalting the poor and including outsiders, bringing the love of God to all.
